Hello my name is "Lottie”

I am a senior rescue here at WTWTA Rescue. I have quite a story and despite me being 8 years old you would never of guessed that with my puppy-like personality. I was first found on a chain by some sweet and good samaritans who were moved to help me from being starved to death and left outside tied to a pole. It took them weeks of fighting for me with my prior owner but they finally got me and when they did I couldn’t of been more grateful.

I still had a lot to learn though, I was very scared at that time because I was never taught how to properly socialize with other people and dogs and cats. Luckily, these lovely ladies that fought to free me gave me the love and calm support I needed. With some trust and consistent training I was able to feel comfortable around people and other animals.

Tragically, earlier this year, I lost my mommy. I didn’t have my guardian any more and that made me very sad because she took such great care of me. Thankfully, one of the good hearted samaritans of my past never forgot me. When she found out my mommy had passed she fought hard to get me and ensure I was safely brought in to a rescue that could ensure I would be taken care of.

Although, during that time, I had also lost the ability to see out of my one eye, either due to an accident or glaucoma. But that didn’t stop be from being a silly sweet girl, I am super sturdy and adjustable and rolled with the punches just like my mommy taught me to be. I know you will love my cute goofiness and find I’m the perfect companion to have next to you to watch tv, go on walks and sing in the car during our weekly car rides to get me a puppy cone at Brusters :)

Despite the tragedies in my life, I have adapted, I have remained strong and I am still a spunky and wonderful girl just looking for a new home to keep me warm and safe and loved.

I would love to meet you and hope that you would love to meet me too! We could be bestest of friends and create so many wonderful memories together that you will always be able to look back on with a smile. I hope you will give me a chance to be your pup.
