My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bobby is one of five 7 week old Chihuahua mixes that were surrendered to the High Plateau Humane Society through the County Sheriff.  They might be pure bred, but we have no idea, so we are listing them as mixes.  In any case, this litter of three girls and two boys are super cute and friendly.  Although Bobby is the only pup with erect ears at this point, all are likely to become fully erect over time.  These puppies will complete their two week quarantine period and be ready to go to their new home on a "Foster-to-Adopt" contract on or after November 5th so that they can go to their new home and wait to be spayed or neutered when they are four to six months old.  All adopters will receive an adoption certificate after they have been spayed or neutered.

The adoption fee for each of these pups is $400, which includes all shots until they are four months old and the cost of spay or neuter as well as a microchip for local adopters.  Since out-of-town adopters can not use our vet, they will be required to pay for all the pup's veterinary care after they take the pup home (although we will send you home with a microchip), and then you will receive a $100 refund of the adoption fee upon proof of spay or neuter.

PLEASE NOTE:  Because they are so small and delicate, and because puppies need a great deal of attention in general, we will not adopt these puppies to families with children under 5 or whose eldest child is under 8.  Nor will we adopt them to families with larger breed dogs.  Thank you for your understanding.
