When I first arrived at the rescue, I felt battered and defeated. Life had dealt me a tough hand, but I responded with courage and resilience. I don’t hold grudges against those who neglected and abused me; I don’t judge. Instead, I focus on the love I can give. What I truly want in return is the chance to love unconditionally.

I know what it means to be rescued, so please don’t pity me. Instead, think of adopting me and allowing me to walk alongside you in greatness. Together, we can create a bond filled with joy and companionship.

As a Great Pyrenees, I’m part of a giant breed, typically weighing 100 pounds or more. I have some unique traits that are important to consider. I’m protective by nature, which means I may see some dogs as intruders. Some of my fellow Pyrs get along with other dogs, while others prefer being the only canine companion.

I also have a strong wanderlust, so a secure fence is a must—trust me, I can’t be trusted off-leash! I’ll also bark to let you know when something’s up, and I tend to shed, so be prepared for some grooming.

Great Pyrenees are known for being wonderful family pets, but it’s essential to understand my breed traits before bringing me home.
