My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Enchilada! Enchilada is a very sweet 2 year old, 40 pound Hound/Terrier Mix (Breed is only a guess! - she looks like a mix of a lot of breeds). Enchilada is playful and sweet. She gets along great with other dogs and enjoys running and playing with the dogs in her foster home. Enchilada is very athletic and would make a great agility dog or jogging/hiking buddy.  She greets everyone she meets with a wagging tail. If there are children in Enchilada's forever home, they should be 8 years and up as Enchilada is not in a foster home with kids.  Enchilada is able to jump a 5 foot fence with ease, so if there is a fenced yard in her forever home, it needs to be at least 6 feet tall.  Enchilada is not suited to first time dog owners.  Enchilada is not suited to apartment/condo living.  Enchilada is spayed, house trained, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped.

*Enchilada is heartworm positive and will need a forever home to get him through her treatment. Lovepaws covers the cost of her treatment. For questions about heartworm treatment, please email the adoption coordinator listed below.*

The adoption fee for this dog is $350 which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter.

***Please note that our first step is submitting an application (it does not commit you in any way but allows us to discuss with you if you and the dog are a good fit).  In addition, an important step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.***
