Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Loki is a 1-year-old Husky and is a possible mix. He is a big and VERY handsome guy. Much more handsome in person than in the pictures. He is super sweet and loves people and other dogs. He can be a little nervous to start but makes friends fast. Once he is out of his shell, his Foster says he likes to play rough with the other dogs. At my house, he was good until my male tried to play rough and then he bowed out. But with the same age male dog in-home with him, he tries to be the alpha at playtime.
He is house and crate trained. We do not want a home that will be crating him a lot. He walks well on a harness. His harness will be sent with him. He is pretty well mannered in the house but is a counter surfer, so he will need some work on that.
So far he has not tried to escape us but as most people know, this breed is known for escaping and running. His owner had an invisible fence system and it did not work for this guy. He will need an owner that knows and loves the breed or has done plenty of research and is ready to be responsible for this kind of dog.
This guy needs a fenced yard or active owners. No apartments for this guy.
Loki is Neutered, up to date on his shots and vet care. He is being fostered in Waverly Mo. His adoption fee is $200 through Friends of the Friendless.
