Meet Navi, pronounced NAH-VEE. This spunky little 9 month old black tri girl is ready for her forever home! Couch potatoes need not apply! She is 30 lbs. of playful, sometimes ornery, energy. She needs a strong Aussie leader or else she will run the home. She is mini American Shepherd and Australian Shepherd so she shouldn't get much bigger. A perfect size! Fun size! Navi would love to have a four legged brother or sister to play and run with that could keep up with her. She loves to wrestle and play tug o war with her foster Aussie brothers and she wears both of them out. She needs daily outside activity including walks and a fenced yard to run in. She does not do well crated and doesn't need to be as she is 100% house trained and uses a pet door. She has had some nipping issues especially with small children so children under 12 are not a good idea. She does not like being approached abruptly by strangers and will bark and sometimes nip if feeling threatened, but warms up quickly with positive reinforcement and after correction. She has never bitten, just a lot of attitude. She pulls on the leash so will need some work with that, but there are no food or toy guarding issues. She needs quality chew bones to keep her busy and a yak milk chew is her favorite. Navi also LOVES to go for car rides. She prefers to sleep with her human parents; so if you want a cuddle buddy, she is your girl! She will also sleep on the floor; she doesn't care for her dog bed. She is very smart and learns quickly and is very fast. She can outrun and out maneuver both of her foster Aussie brothers! Navi would make a GREAT sport dog!
