My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zuri, a 2 year old female joined us in April, after the lab mix was diagnosed with Addison's Disease, and her original owners could no longer afford to keep her. Thankfully, her owners were determined to get help for Zuri and surrendered her. We were and are honored that we were able to step up.

Zuri's treatment for Addison's has been successful, and she is now on maintenance for this condition. She will require the medication (which costs about $175 for a 3 month supply) for the remainder of her life.

Zuri is a very nice dog that gets along well with other dogs. She is crate and house trained, and very well behaved. She does well with adults and with kids and will make a great addition to any home.
