Mr. Whitey McNubbins is a spunky, affectionate, young senior in a compact package who enjoys the company of his people. Whitey is potty trained, rides well in cars and enjoys going for walks. It is a joy taking Whitey on errands and for walks. While Whitey enjoys his family he takes his time getting to know new people, dogs and places. He is a friendly and good natured but not the gregarious Boxer type – more reserved. His former family (of 7 + years) let us know that he likes playing with toys but he has yet to show that side of him. Whitey is practicing good canine habits (wait, stay, look at me) and catches on quick! He gets along with the resident cat (ignores her) and young dog (ambivalent). While Whitey and the resident dog do not engage in play, Whitey has shown playfulness with another female Boxer his size. Whitey can go to a home with or without a dog but his people should be home most of the time. Mr. Whitey McNubbins would make a great companion for those seeking a calm, love bug with zoom in the tank. He is quite a nice boy!
