My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**If you're viewing this on Petfinder, please visit www.lovepawspg.org to complete our non-binding application.**

Meet Maggie, a beautiful and sweet 3-year-old beagle mix who weighs about 40 lbs.   Don't let that "frown" fool you, Maggie is a happy girl, but isn't much on having her picture taken.  Maggie came to our rescue with her newborn babies and was the sweetest mommy ever. Since then, her babies have all been adopted and now it is Maggie's turn to find her forever home!  She is extremely sweet with her foster family. Maggie would do ok with another dog in the home as long as the dog was calm.  Maggie is not much of a playmate, but is a good companion.  Maggie enjoys people and would be happiest in a home where someone is at home a good portion of the day.  Maggie is not in a foster home with kids, so if there are kids in her forever home they should be 10 years and up.  Maggie requires a large fenced-in yard and is not suited to apartment/condo living.  Maggie is housetrained, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives and eager to find a family to love!

The adoption fee for this dog is $350 which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter.

***Please note that our first step is submitting an application (it does not commit you in any way but allows us to discuss with you if you and the dog are a good fit).  In addition, an important step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.***
