My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HISTORY: JULIO was brought to the Santa Fe Animal Shelter after being taken in by the Gatos Trap, Neuter & Release program, and then transferred to us when he was found to be FELV+.  Since he is likely to be a carrier of the virus, JULIO needs an indoor home with no other cats, an FELV+ cat, or a healthy adult who has been vaccinated against the virus.  FELV suppresses the immune system and is specific to felines; it cannot be transmitted to other animal species or to humans.
TEMPERAMENT: JULIO is still quite shy with humans, but loves to hang out with other cats.  For this reason, he would be happiest in a home with another FELV+ cat or one who has been vaccinated for FELV.  JULIO is a handsome boy with a short coat and cream tabby markings with white patches on his mouth, chest, front toes and back leg 'stockings,' and a tipped left ear.
AGE: born approx. 7/16/13
MICROCHIP #: 981020011026652
DATE OF STERILIZATION: 12/19/13, SFAS
VAX RECORD: Rabies: exp. 12/19/14; FVRCP: exp. 12/31/14
FELV/FIV test: 12/31/13, FIV neg., FELV+

ADOPTION FEE: $100
