My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I took in Chief from a friend, at the time he really needed a home and I thought I could take care of him but I don’t have the time he deserves. He is 1 years old, he is almost a purebred Belgian Malinois but he is mixed with 13% of White Swiss Shepherd. He is house trained but I would like Chief to go to someone with a yard or someone to keep his mind and body working. He does need more obedience training though, he knows sit, stay, and down. Chief does bark excessively sometimes and doesn’t take loud noises well like fireworks. Honestly he can show aggressive traits at times but it is only because he was mistreated when he was little and he gets defensive sometimes. Chief is also very protective and territorial. I’m looking to see if there is someone who can look past that and is willing to take him in and is okay with having to give him that training. Someone who also has experience with his breed is a plus. He is a very smart and bright dog who loves to play fetch and cuddle.
