Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Loki! He is a gorgeous blue eyed, red merle with lots of love and energy. Loki is a year and 8 months old weighing 55lbs. Loki came to us from a shelter in Iowa, we don't know about his past. What we do know since being with us is that Loki would prefer to be the only pup in the house. He gets along with dogs and likes to play with them, but he doesn't like to share food, bones or treats with them. He gets along fine with the dominant pup in the house and leaves him alone, but he picks on the submissive dog in the house. Loki has never been around cats, so we do not recommend him with cats.
Loki takes time to warm up to people he doesn't know, but he has been doing great with positive reinforcement with treats and praise when he has been meeting new people in his foster home.
Loki is potty and crate trained. Loki loves to go for walks, hikes, and to play fetch! He also LOVES to snuggle! He sleeps on his dog bed next to his foster mom and dad, and sometimes in the mornings is allowed to jump into bed and snuggle with them. Loki has LOTS of energy and would make an excellent dog sport candidate. If you love agility, rally or obedience, he would love to be your teammate! This boy will reward his forever human with lots of love and affection! Loki likes car rides and likes to watch out the window.
Loki is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on monthly prevention.
