Goofy and his 4 siblings (Umi, Lola, Hugo, & Ada) and other 4 pups were found in an undeveloped area to fend for themselves. Goofy and his little mates were estimated to be about 6 months when they were rescued. He was terrified of people at first and would peed himself when people attempted to pet him. Then, with the loving and nurturing care of his rescuer and foster family, he came out of his shell in a short few days and is now enjoying being petted by people. Goofy started to show people his goofy smiles (hence the name) and loves to give kisses to people. He loves to play with toys and to chase balls. He is very dog friendly and was even helping to socialize the puppies his rescuers brought home. Goofy is absolutely the sweetest, funniest/goofiest boy. Like many rescue dogs, he is still a little bit shy and anxious around strangers and the new environment. However, he is very food motivated, and warms up soon after you give him treats. If you allow him to come to you with treats on hand, he will warm up quickly as he is quite adaptive to the new environment with some patience and love. He has potty trained, prefers to do his businesses outdoors. He needs an active and stable family. He loves to follow you around, keep you company and give you lots of laughs. You will have a wonderful companion in Goofy!
