Dusty was originally a TNR with his buddy Rusty but the trapper decided to give them a chance in her home. They would do best with somebody who has experience in socializing shy kitties. They do have the potential to be a great pair of housecats. MHS would also consider the pair in a safe warehouse/barn situation with proper acclimation. They would make super mousers!
Rusty is FIV+ which does NOT require daily medications nor impact his quality of life. Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) is ONLY passed through deep bite wounds between cats and cannot be passed to other animal species or humans. FIV kitties can live with, share food bowls, litter boxes, groom and wrestle with non FIV housemates with no risk of transmission. Rusty is neutered, UTD on vaccinations and microchipped.

$170 for Adults (7Months - 7yrs)
$95 for Senior/Special Needs

We believe it is our moral responsibility to protect and improve the lives of abused, abandoned, and homeless cats and dogs, and to place them in loving permanent homes.
