Chimera is the most unique cat I have ever fostered. A chimera cat is a feline who has two sets of DNA, the result of two embryos fusing together. In other words, a chimera cat is two fraternal twins combined in one individual. This special kitty is literally two cats in one! Her unique split face is just one of the special things about her though. Her fur is so soft and luxurious. Her coloring reminds me of toasted coconut and her bright blue eyes melt my heart. Chimera keeps my son company all day while he is on his computer for distance learning. She cuddles up nearby so he can take breaks to pet and snuggle her. She still has not warmed up to my dog but she loves our cat Shadow. When our dog is in her bed for the night, Chimera and Shadow take over the house, chasing each other and playing. Chimera also loves to be on the bed to chase and attack the ‘monsters’ under the covers. She will do this for a while before settling down to sleep for the night. All in all Chimera is a wonderful kitty and will make a great pet.
