My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Granite must be adopted into a home with another young kitty. If you do not have another playful kitty at home and are not open to adopting a buddy for Granite, please do not bother applying. I will not respond.

Granite was rescued from a Loews parking lot in Brooklyn, near to a marble dealer (hence the name), when he was three months old.

He is a gorgeous brown tabby with spots instead of stripes, which makes him look like a bobcat. True to his wild relative, he started out his time indoors by being very scared and unsure of humans, but after a month of socializing him, he is now a total love bug who sleeps in bed with me, loves to be pet and more than anything, loves to play with his foster brothers.

Although he takes a little time to warm up to new people, he is confident and loving and independent. He will rub all over you and purr when he's in the mood, but he'll also let you know when he's trying to nap and doesn't want to be disturbed.

He is approximately 4.5 months old. Neutered. Up to date on all vaccines, microchipped and negative for FIV/FeLV.
