NOTE: Because of our adoption procedures, we can only adopt within a 1 hour driving radius of St. Louis, MO. Brandy Sue is a petite adorable Persian cat (est. age 8 years) who is selective about whom she likes and whom she allows in her inner circle. She is a quiet cat who is happy to lounge on a cat tree and watch what is going on around her, or simply check out by taking a nap. She will chirp at her people to get attention, and will roll on her side to entice them to pet her. She is somewhat of a diva, as s he does not hesitate to let you know what she enjoys and what she doesn’t. She would thrive in a quiet home with adults, where she would be the only pet with someone who can give her daily attention to keep the area around her eyes clean and brushing/combing to prevent mats (prior e xperience with long-haired cats is preferred). She gets along with other cats in that she ignores them and prefers they ignore her. We feel she would do best as an only pet. Brandy Sue has a heart murmur; however, h er heart and lungs have been x-rayed and everything looks healthy. She should have a cardiology exam annually. She has had some digestive upsets in the past and is now doing great on prescription Biome food. Brandy Sue is considered to be a special needs cat x 4 due to the extra care her eyes and long hair require, the special food, and the heart murmur.
