Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kenzie Ann was a very sick pup when she came to WSRH. She had untreated diabetes which led to diabetic ketoacidosis and acute pancreatitis. Vets and volunteers have worked hard to stabilize her and set her back on path to a normal life. Kenzie will need to stay on a restricted diet and receive insulin injections twice every day. Her untreated diabetes also led to cataracts and so little Kenzie is blind. She still likes to chase squirrels, though, using her hearing and sense of smell to let her know where the little critters are.
Kenzie has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Her adoption donation is $350 which includes at least a month’s insulin and syringes, 6 months heartworm preventative meds, free microchip registration, and a safety harness.
If you are interested in adopting Kenzie Ann, please review the adoption process and fill out the application on our website: wsrh.com
All dogs are available until “Adoption Pending” is noted next to their names. WSRH DOES NOT HAVE A PUBLIC SHELTER. ALL OF OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN PRIVATE HOMES. Approved adopters only will be invited to meet the dogs.
