My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little guy was turned into the Athens pound with some siblings - yet another product of a mama who should have been spayed but wasn't. Luckily, Jackson beat the odds and made it out of the pound and into a wonderful foster home. Jackson is a friendly, happy boy whose life is one big round of playing, eating, sleeping and cuddling. As you can see from his pictures, there are a variety of animals in his foster home, so Jackson is learning to make friends with all sorts of creatures. One of his roomies is a young pug who's not that much bigger than he is, and they love to play and wrestle together until they're both pooped out. Jackson also considers the cats his buddies, and they do an amazing job of tolerating his attacks on their tails. Since he's not much bigger than a kitten at the moment they forgive his rowdiness, but as he gets bigger they'll be giving him some etiquette lessons he won't forget. We are quite sure that by the time he's adopted they will have coached Jackson into a model cat housemate. Jackson has sable coloring so we're guessing he's some kind of shepherd mix. Since he's so young and tiny now it's hard to say whether his little button ears will stand up or lay down, and his tiny mouse tail will be big or small. But we know he will be a fun, adorable and affectionate family member.
