My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Tomato and I am 10 years old. Tomato is a sweet, 10 year old, diabetic, male cat. He is currently on 2 units of insulin (Lantis Glargine) twice a day and his bloodwork is stable. (Insulin & needles cost about $180 every 3 months.) He loves to lay on his foster dad's lap and he likes to run around and play with toys. He might be ok with 1 other cat, but would rather be your only cat. He loves his food, of course! (He is not currently on a prescription diet, but could be.) He loves to lay in the sun. He also loves his catnip rainbow toy!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Please complete the Adoption Application on our
website www.catniprescue.org to get the process started. Please do NOT use
any adoption application by Adopt-a-Pet, as this will NOT
provide us with the required information and will delay the adoption
process.
All known information about the cat is provided in the cat's description.
We can help match you up with a cat appropriate for your household.

Some of the cats featured here are on display in the Adoption Center inside
Petsmart at 641 Baltimore Pike, Springfield PA 19064. Volunteers are
present twice a day to care for the cats, but may not be able to let you in
to meet a cat. All Adoption Applications are processed immediately, usually
in 1-3 days. If your application is approved, arrangements will be made for
you to meet the cat(s) before finalizing the adoption. Be sure to check
your VOICE MAILS and EMAILS for messages from us regarding your application.

Please complete ONLY ONE Adoption Application, either on the yellow paper
form found at Petsmart OR on our website www.catniprescue.org
Multiple applications from the same applicant will delay the process.

More about this rescue

We are a no-kill, all volunteer, 501(c)(3) cat rescue. We do not have a shelter; all cats are housed in foster homes. All of our adopters are carefully screened to ensure the cat or cats are placed into a loving home. Our adoption team works with adopters to match them up with the perfect new family member.

We are in desperate need of foster homes and volunteers. The more help we can get, the more cats we can rescue.
