Barnie is a fun, playful guy that does not always understand how large, bulky, and heavy he is.

He plays well with other dogs and is friendly, but not with toys or food. He does have resource guarding and needs supervision and more training for this.

He loves going on walks, hiking or hanging out watching TV on the sofa.

He is about 2-3 years old.

We will call if we feel you are a fit for one of our adoptable pets. Once confirmed, we will set up a meet and greet with the pet.

Home Check

We will visit your home to see the environment where the dog will live and answer your questions.

Additional adoption info

Additional Information:

If applicable, we'll call your veterinarian to ensure that previous pets have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and well cared for.

For renters, we'll check with your landlord to ensure that dogs are permitted and that the dog that you're adopting wouldn't violate any size or breed restrictions.

Adoption fees are generally between $300-$450 depending on which pup you are adopting.

Leashes of Love Rescue is an organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, primarily dogs from local high-kill shelters in Southern California and owners who can no longer care for them. Our goal is not only to place dogs in well-matched, carefully screened forever homes, but also to educate dog owners about responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter, positive behavior training, and good nutrition.
