My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pirelli is a little shy with new people but a loving kitty with those who are willing to spend a little time getting to know him. After he gets to know someone, he welcomes petting and does not mind being picked up. He gets along great with all the other cats in his house and certainly would not mind sharing his forever home with another cat or two. He would do best in a quiet home where he can relax and be his loving self.

cardiology consult findings: ventricular septal defect (congenital), left to right shunting. Normal cardiac size and function. No medications indicated at this time.

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
