Messi - is a bright, happy, lovable, playful, kitten that gets along great with everyone. He loves to play and mix with all the other kittens. When he needs a short rest, he enjoys lounging in a cat condo where he can watch for the next opportunity to join in the fun. When he is not playing, he totally enjoys cuddling close in volunteer’s laps. Messi would make a great, loving addition to almost any home. He is good with all: adults, children, and other cats.

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
