My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jazz is one of three puppies surrendered to us at 9 weeks old (Jaxx, Jett and Jazz). All the pups are happy, outgoing and healthy. Mom is a red Australian Kelpie/Cattldog mix (see photo). Since none of the pups look much like mom (see group photo that includes all three pups), and all look like Border Collies, AND there is a BC male that lives two doors down from mom, we are assuming he is the dad!

Anyway, Jazz and his brothers will have competed their 10 day quarantine on February 26th and are available to go home on a Foster-to-Adopt contract at that time (formal adoption happens after they are neutered). They have received one DHPP shot and deworming to date, but have not been neutered yet as we like to wait until puppies are 4 to 6 months old. Their adoption fee is $400 each, and that includes their remaining shots, deworming, microchipping and neuter if you live within driving distance of Alturas, CA. Out-of-town adopters will need to pay for these treatments out of pocket but will be refunded $100 when they provide proof of neuter for the pup. Once the puppy has been neutered, the adopter will be issued a certificate of adoption.
