My name is Nugget, and I am 7 years old. Weighing in at about 90 pounds I’m a big hunk of love. I wound up at the shelter because my owners said they no longer had time for me. I was sad, but I didn’t let it get me down. I’m a friendly boy and was a favorite with the shelter staff. They said I am a “big ole love bug” who loves to give hugs and kisses. I do love getting cuddles, and I LIVE for tummy rubs, anytime, anywhere! I met a female dog at the shelter and also do fine with the other dogs here at the rescue through the fence, but I also like my own space, so I prefer to be the King of my castle. I’m an easy going boy that is happy in a quiet and calm environment. I don’t need a lot of exercise. I’m just looking for a safe place to be where I can be part of a family all my own. I’m happy hanging around the house and can sometimes be seen carrying my food bowl around in my mouth. My foster mommy says it’s adorable! I also do fine outside as long as I get some cuddle time every day. I’ve been neutered and am up to date on all my shots. I’m pretty low maintenance and will make a great companion for a family that just likes to hang out and enjoy each other’s company. I’m hoping I will get a new forever family this time. I’m a good boy who has a lot of love and loyalty to give.
