My name is Chester ❤️❤️
Don’t let my pictures fool you- I am a BIG boy (like 70lbs of big boy) I am around 2 years old now, walk well on-leash, am crate trained, fully vaccinated, microchipped, potty trained and neutered!
I’m a bit of a timid fella at first, but once I warm up, I’ll follow you anywhere!
My favorite things include Nose-bopping you, mild herding attempts and going on adventures. I love hikes and going to the lake, but I am NOT terribly high-energy... I like easy-hikes and walks around the hood, Netflix and chill...
I had been adopted, but couldn’t resist chasing the kitties..... kitties were not stoked...
I also lived with another male dog for a bit, but my attempts at playing were a little too rough and I knew the old boy wouldn’t follow-through correcting me, so I made myself into a bit of a pushy turd...
I would do ok with another dog that’s playful but will also let me know when I’ve crossed the line..
I’d be ok with older children, but as with any dog, my interactions need to be SUPERVISED.
I should NOT be in a home with small dogs.
Once I get comfortable, I get a little cocky and try to see what I can get away with (like the time i stole all the breakfast-sandwich bacon when my foster family stepped away for ONE second), so I need an owner who can guide me into the right direction with clear, consistent rules and boundaries. If I think I’m in trouble, my go-to Is to SHUT DOWN- so heavy-handed or angry corrections are a no-go... I am SENSITIVE.

We do not know what breed he is, but we’re interested to find out. Maybe GSD/Sharpei/cattle something?
