Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Everyone meet Penny. She is a beautiful 3 year old Doberman Pinscher. She has all the basic qualities of a young dog that needs work on her manners. She’s jumpy, excitable and could use some basic obedience. On the flip side she is great with kids and cats, greets strangers without issue, loves to go for runs and car rides. As for dogs, she will need some work integrating and meeting dogs with proper introduction as she becomes very excited. She is crate trained but does have accidents from time to time (when left in the crate too long). She is looking for an active home that has large breed experience and is willing to work with her on basic training and learning her manners. She’s a flight risk and will escape any door so her home should not be near a main road and she should be trained not to bolt through thresholds.
If you’re interested in adopting her, please email caredogvolunteers@gmail.com for an application! There will be a home visit and adoption fee. She will be spayed prior to adoption.
(No judgement please - these are not our pictures, they came from her current home. We do realize the prong collar is too large and not worn correctly. If she does need it to walk, it would need to be worn so it will not hurt her).
