My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW. IT WILL ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS. If you still have questions after, we are happy to respond through email.

It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.

The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old.

MCFADDEN his mom BRISTOL and his younger siblings from a previous litter (LACY, LA VETA and EDINGER) were all living in a yard in Santa Ana, Ca. They were all named after the streets in Santa Ana.

BRISTOL was actually the neighbor's cat. The man that initially saved all of them was feeding them outside. She initially had her first litter and that's when EDINGER was born. We weren't told exactly what happened to his siblings. Then she had a second litter and that's when he decided to reach out for help. A local independent rescuer trapped mama cat and kittens. Then they called us to come get them.

These poor guys were so skinny and dirty. Scared and unsocial. And when MCFADDEN came to our rescue he was adopted as a 3 month old kitten To our dismay, he was dumped at the shelter. We reached out to his family and never located them.

Meet MCFADDEN, a charming three-year-old tuxedo cat from Santa Ana, California, whose heart is as warm as his glossy black and white coat. MCFADDEN is a friendly feline who can often be found striking up a conversation with anyone who will listen. Whether it's a soft meow in the morning or a chatty greeting when you come home, he's got plenty to say!

MCFADDEN's affectionate nature makes him a delightful companion, especially if you're someone who appreciates the soft purrs and gentle nuzzles of a loving cat. He's particularly fond of canned food, and his enthusiasm for mealtime is both adorable and a bit of a spectacle. You'll see his eyes light up in anticipation as soon as he hears the can open!

While he might be a bit shy at first, give him a little time and MCFADDEN will be weaving between your legs and hopping onto your lap. His tuxedo markings give him an air of sophistication, and he carries himself with the grace of a seasoned gentleman.

Imagine spending your evenings relaxing with MCFADDEN by your side, sharing stories of your day as he responds with his charming meows. His presence can turn any ordinary moment into a special one, filled with joy and the comforting sound of purring.

If you're ready to give MCFADDEN a forever home where he can continue to share his love and stories, please find the information on how to apply down below. Could MCFADDEN be the talkative, affectionate companion you've been looking for?

MCFADDEN is a DOMESTICATED SHORT HAIR TUXEDO. He is about 3 years and 5 months old and is good with cats. He has never been around children. And we don't know if he has ever been around dogs.

MCFADDEN is currently at our rescue in Hemet, California.

The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below.

PETSMART
in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue

in Hemet, California off Florida Avenue

in Palm Desert, California off Monterey Avenue

or any PETSMART near you!

The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done.. Gas donations always appreciated!

************* Please no calls to the rescue. No one available to take calls. *************

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.

Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.

We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient.

MCFADDEN is ALREADY fully vetted.
The adoption fee of $200 covers:

Neuter
FVRCP shots
RABIES shot
FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative)
Drontal Dewormer
Stronghold Flea Control
Microchip

We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.

If for some unfortunate reason you missed out on the kitten/cat you emailed about...I'm sure that we could help you with another rescue baby! Just ask!
