My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey, I’m Ladybug! Don’t be fooled by my grumpy look, I’m a sweet girl! Sure I can be a little sassy at times, but I’ve got a lot of personality when you get to know me. For example, I love playing with my people! You got teaser toys that you can wiggle around for me? Then count me in! I love boxes too- they’re my absolute jam.

I can get along well with other cats, but if I’m being honest with you, I’d prefer if I was your only cat. Sometimes I get a little huffy when other cats are up in my space! What can I say? I’m a girl who likes to keep her personal bubble free of others. That’s not all bad though, imagine this: me, curled up in your lap, and you brushing me. Just the two of us, happy and comfy as can be. It’d be perfect! I’ll even give you kitty kisses.

When I came into the rescue, I was pregnant with my first litter. I did a good job raising my babies and watched them get adopted, so now I think it’s my turn to find my permanent home!

I look forward to meeting you!

Our adoption fee includes spay/neuter, rabies (if old enough) and a FVRCP vaccine. It also includes a FIV/FeLV test and microchip with no transfer fees.

We are a foster-based rescue, so adoptable animals are in private homes in the NW Florida Panhandle. The best way to meet one of our pets is to attend our adoption events on Saturday. To find out where we'll be this week, please check out the EVENTS tab or visit our Facebook page at www.SavingwithSoul.com.

If you would like to get the process started to adopt one of our pets, just go here: www.SavewithSoul.com and select "Adopt" on the top menu.

Thank you for considering a rescued pet!

If you're interested in fostering, we are looking for fosters located in the Crestview & Fort Walton Beach areas! Please contact us if you have any questions or are interested!

More about this rescue

Our Mission Statement: “To Make Miracles Happen for homeless dogs and cats in the Northwest Florida Panhandle without regard to age, breed, size, color or health. We strive to keep our adoption fees reasonable so that we can pull animals adopters or other rescues might overlook. Our goal is to help local shelters avoid euthanasia by keeping kennel space open. We provide safe and loving temporary homes for the animals we save, while we work hard to find them their forever homes through adoption.”

Saving with Soul is a home-grown grass roots group of devoted animal rescuers. We focus our rescue efforts almost exclusively on shelter dogs and cats in Northwest Florida but we are not affiliated with any individual shelter. Since 2012 our group has been able to significantly decrease shelter euthanasia through our foster program and adoption events.
