My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

TLC Animal Refuge is a foster-based, volunteer-driven, not for profit, program. We do not have a brick and mortar facility with specified open hours, so any requested meet n greet (or pick up) will only be arranged after an application has been received, reviewed and approved.

IF THIS LISTING IS STILL HERE, PET IS AVAILABLE. PLEASE READ ENTIRE LISTING AS MOST QUESTIONS ARE ANSWERED WITHIN.

Spike is a little camera shy, but when he wants some lovin' he comes a looking! He absolutely loves to have cat siblings around and is frequently found playing with his foster's pony tail holders, cat toys, even the stray piece of aluminum foil is fair game. While he is friendly, he is pretty independent, so a home who understands this guy may not want to be held for too long is important.

He has no trouble with the large or small dogs in the home, plays with the two littles sometimes. He adjusts well to new fosters coming in. He's a great young guy (born roughly 5/2020) who deserves a home to call his own,

While Spike has tested positive for FIV - included here is a link to Cornell University's School of Veterinary Medicine if you'd like to read up on it - he is very healthy and even when other cats in the home have gotten colds, he has not. Spike is in a very healthy state.

Spike is neutered; up-to-date on vaccines; has tested negative for FELV, his deworming is up to date as is monthly flea/tick preventative; and he has been microchipped. His adoption fee is $85.00.

If you believe you are the right fit for Spike, please submit an application. A volunteer will review as soon as possible.
