My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Momma Bean! Momma Bean is a very sweet 2 year old, 50 pound Shepherd/Border Collie Mix (Breed is only a guess! - she looks like a mix of a lot of breeds). Bean is playful and sweet. She gets along great with other dogs her size and larger and enjoys running and playing with the dogs in her foster home. She is not suited to a home with small dogs or cats.  Like many Border Collies, she needs proper introductions with new doggy friends but once she meets them they will be her BFF! She greets everyone she meets with a wagging tail. She's good on leash when she takes her walks. If there are children in Momma Bean's forever home, they should be 8 years and up as she is not in a foster home with kids.  Momma Bean loves to let loose and needs an active place to play and run thus she is not suited to apartment/condo living. She is mostly housetrained and crate trained.  Momma Bean will be spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped.

The adoption fee for this dog is $350 which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter.

***Please note that our first step is submitting an application (it does not commit you in any way but allows us to discuss with you if you and the dog are a good fit).  In addition, an important step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.**
