My story

This beautiful lab/ terrier mix was born on Jan 3 rd 2021. She is approx 57 lbs . She has a really beautiful coat, very sleek and shiny, a gorgeous chocolate brown/black color, she is a very pretty girl. She has just completed a two month board and train program where she learned to walk on a leash. She is a sweet girl, she loves to play with her toys snd loves lots of petting. Her trainer feels she would do great in a home that could take on walks or hikes daily and give her lots of exercise She will require a fully fenced in and secure yard to run and play in

OUR RESCUE POLICY - It is our rescue policy for all our dogs that we require a home with no children under the age of 8, and experienced dog owners only.

WE REQUIRE VET RECORDS ON YOUR CURRENT OR PAST DOG FOR OUR REVIEW. RECORDS MUST SHOW THE POTENTIAL ADOPTER AS THE OWNER

The total adoption fee of $400 ( and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, distemper and canine influenza, and microchip. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. We also provide a coupon for a free wellness visit to the South Wilton Vet group if convenient for you. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care. Our application is online at https://www.houstonshaggydogrescue.org/apply/

Why adoption is a great option

Harlow, a Norwalk Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
