My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Willa is working through her people anxiety but is making real progress. She is a sweet girl who loves to play with other dogs. She would do best in a home with another dog.

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Potential adopters either meet a pet at local adoption events, see it on our Facebook, Website or Petfinder and then submit an application

2.

Approve Application

All applications go through a vetting process. Contacting two references and their vet's office to see if they keep their pets up to date

3.

Home Check

We typically do a home visit to make sure the home is in safe condition for the potential incoming pet.

4.

Take the Pet Home

Make proper introductions to any existing pets in the home

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

If all goes well, we then will go over our Adoption Contract, receive the adoption donation fee, take a photo and complete the adoption

6.

Take the Pet Home

Your pet will be delivered to their new home and ready to start their new life!

Additional adoption info

Our rescue prides itself on not having stringent rules regarding living space or fenced in yards as a prerequisite to adopting. We only ask that the adopter provides a safe and loving home.

More about this rescue

Home Free Animal Rescue was founded:
1. To make pet adoption easier, more affordable and FUN!
2. To save the pets who are most in need and not necessarily the ones that are easily adoptable.
3. We champion the black dogs and cats, plain brown wrappers, bully breeds, seniors, pregnant animals and others that would ordinarily be overlooked.
4. Together, we can make a real difference!!
