Here's what the humans have to say about me:
reason for re-home need: owner’s limited mobility this past year
basics
- 10 year old male poodle
- 20 pounds
- shots current/fixed/housebroken
positives
- gives an abundance of love to his owner
- LOVES going on walks
- has an amazing amount of energy for his age
challenges
- diabetic (needs a shot twice a day)
- recently became vision impaired (although still can go on walks with and without a leash and do what any other dog can do)
- The one need for the adopter is he/she should probably be one who lives alone as the dog is OUTSTANDING with one person but becomes very territorial when a second person enters the room at home (owner gave him lots of love and tried all methods but could not solve it). This is only at home as once outside, at the vet or kennel, he is great; just very territorial at home.
My mom is in the process of moving into a home and has limited walking ability so this is why the posting. She gave him more love than you can ever think of.
