Cha-cha is a 2.5 yr old Jindo boy. He came to Toronto 2wks ago and is currently in a foster home.
He was adopted in Korea and raised by human when he was a puppy, then he got abandoned. At first, the shelter was too scary for him and he was a very skittish boy. It has been 2 yrs from then, no he wags his tail even at strangers and let them pet him. His sociability is 10 out of 10. He is very well leash trained and house trained. As long as he gets walking regularly, he makes zero accidents. He is quite low to medium energy level. Because he is not a big eater, he sleeps most of the time inside of the house after walking. He shows good calling response (of course you need to bond with him first though) and comes back and gets into the house after he has done his business in the backyard. He does not show separation anxiety and only barks when he is excited such as the moment when you bring a leash or his favorite chew.
There are certain situations that he does not like though. He may show his teeth when you try to take a treat away from your mouth. He is sensitive when his front paw or leg get touched not in good manner. He may growl but as long as the touch is gentle, he will let you clean his paw. He is a counter top surfer. When you cook or about to give him food, he gets up on the counter top. He listens when you say "no and down" but still needs to learn that. As mentioned above, he is not a big eater so the adopter has to work on that as well.
