My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Vana is a 5 1/2 years old now and is just a joy. Vana was adopted by her foster mom, but feels she would like to let her find a new forever home so that she can help foster some of our sickly new rescues.

Vana is cage and house trained and is also invisible fence trained. Ideally we would like to find her a home in the Chicago area as she is due for new blood work. She is such a pretty girl.

2021: Welcome to the IBR program Vana. She came to us via a Craigslist ad and seeing how much energy she has, I am so glad I could help her previous owners out. SHE IS HIGH ENERGY, but calming down already and loving being in a house.
Vana is 4 years old and lived outdoors most of her life. She did great with all the new dogs she met and she was also fine with Mikey kitty. She's 36lbs and a little OCD but I do suspect she could have some underlying tick borne disease and she had blood work done on 5-1. (We did find Rocky Mountain spotted fever.)
