My story

Name: Blazey
Gender: Female
Age: July 27 2018
Approx.size/weight when full grown: 50- 70lbs
Breed: Shepherd Mix
History: Blazey came into care with a litter of pups (Ice Age Litter) She was set to go back to her family but they changed their minds. Blazey is a very quick learner. She loves to play in the yard and zoom around. She is still learning about city life but does well on walks and recovers fast if something spooks her. She is anxious and untrusting of men. We believe this is something she can overcome with training.

She is currently looking for a Woman only home with a yard. No condos for her as she does like to sing from time to time and we would not want this to cause any issues in a condo

Additional adoption info

Once you have found a dog or cat that you think will be a match for you and your family we ask that you go to the adoptables tab of our website and send in an adoption application Keeping in mind that our rescue is ran by volunteers we will only be contacting the applications that are a great match with one of our animals Once we have processed the application we will contact references and the applicant. If the application is approved we will then set up a time to meet the animal Once everything has been completed we will schedule an adoption day. This will all depend on the age of the animal and if it still needs to be neutered/spayed. None of our animals will be released to their new home until they are spayed or neutered. Our adoption fee includes Spay/neuter Microchip 1st set of shots Rabies (depending on age) Deworming Please Note: We require our adopters to have a fenced yard (unless you live in a condo) and to be over the age of 18. All renters need to provide Landlord consent before their application can be processed

More about this rescue

Our Story It is my passion to help homeless, neglected and abused animals. I have been working in Calgary and area trying to help as many of these animals as I can by supporting families in my target community outside the city and here in Calgary, along with feeding many homeless dogs and cats. With the support of my family and friends and their donations I have been able to start up this small rescue to help as many as I can.
