My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello I`m Froggy! I`m a sweet and gentle gal that enjoy`s the simpler things in life. I`m definitely an independent senior as I love to explore and hang on my own, I would much prefer a home with no other cats and older children. I just want to be your one and only furbaby, since I want to be able to snuggle with you and have you all to myself! I`m a very sweet gal that just wants a calm loving home that allows me to be myself. I don`t tend to mind any age or size of dogs however as long as they keep to themselves I am mutual. I also don`t mind a harness being put on me since I love to explore and look around! If you are looking for a calm explorer buddy and snuggle pal I am your gal!

Froggy is smart, she is funny and gorgeous. Don`t let her age fool you. She still has lots of pep in her step. You couldn`t ask for a sweeter Valentine!

(Froggy requires an oversized litterbox.)

More about this shelter

Our shelter had it's beginnings in the mid 90's and formally became a nonprofit organization in 2001. The dream of Lee and Sophia DiClemente has grown to be the largest no-kill animal shelter in New Mexico. Lee passed in 2010, but Sophia carries on with the support of a small staff, a large number of volunteers, and numerous donors - large and small.
