My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The only girl, Julie was brought to the shelter with her three brothers in April 2014 when the kittens were about 7 weeks old. Julie is an adult now and remains at the shelter. She has very pretty markings and striking golden eyes. Julie is very shy and will require time and patience for any potential adopter(s).

More about this shelter

The Bulverde Area Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Founded in 1983 by Dolores Caldwell, BAHS is a no-kill shelter caring for up to 400 dogs and cats annually. The shelter resides on 3.25 acres of park-like land and houses indoor/outdoor kennels, a cattery, nursery/medical recovery building, agility fields, and fenced-in play yards.

BAHS is powered by volunteers and overseen by a Board of Directors. Our volunteers ensure the dogs and cats get plenty of exercise, playtime, and unlimited cuddles, love, and affection.
