I was adopted as a puppy and returned several years later. No one knows exactly what happened during that time, but when I came back to Pawmetto Lifeline, I was scared and unsure. Thankfully, the kind humans here gave me time, patience, and training—and I’ve come so far!
I’m an active, intelligent boy who loves to play. Fetch is my favorite game, especially if there’s a tennis ball involved. I’ll even bring it back! I also enjoy nature walks, tug-of-war, and learning new cues—I’m working on Sit, Down, and Come, and I’m walking to the yard on a leash like a champ. I thrive on routine, and I’m very treat-motivated, which makes training super fun for me.
My ideal home would be a quiet adult household with people who will give me space and time to get to know them at my pace. The best way to build trust with me? Play fetch! I prefer not to be touched right away—unless you’re offering a butt scratch, and even that should be on my terms.
Even though I’m beautiful, big, and fluffy, I don’t like to share my things. If you allow me on beds or couches, I may claim them as mine and feel uncomfortable if you try to move me—so it’s best to keep boundaries and teach me that furniture is off-limits.
Because of my sensitive nature, I’ll need multiple visits with a potential adopter so we can get to know each other slowly and thoughtfully. Once I trust you, I’ll be a loyal, playful, and loving companion. If you`re patient, dog-savvy, and ready for a unique and rewarding bond, I might just be your perfect match. My adoption fee of $50 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?
