Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I’m Rosey, and Christmas came and went… but I’m still here, waiting for my miracle of a home.
I’m the shelter’s oldest senior, and I already know what it feels like to belong. I was adopted from this very place by someone who loved me deeply. We built a beautiful life together, full of quiet routines and shared comfort. When she passed away, I lost my world, but I never lost the memory of what it feels like to be truly loved.
Over these long months back at the shelter, I’ve trusted that someone would notice me again. I’ve stayed calm, and patient, and I’ve even looked into the camera many times, hoping my eyes might tell my story better than words ever could. Still, my days pass quietly as I wait for my chance to be loved once more.
At ten years old, I’m not asking for much. I offer faithful companionship, soft affection, and a steady presence that soothes rather than demands. I don’t need excitement—I need a peaceful place to rest my heart and spend my golden years feeling safe and cherished.
I do very well with other cats, would likely be comfortable living with a gentle dog, and would thrive in a serene, quiet home. I’m also FIV-positive, which simply means I need routine care — it hasn’t stopped me from living a full, happy life or sharing space with other cats.
The holidays are over, but my hope isn’t. I’m still here, believing it’s not too late for me to be chosen again. Could you be the hero I`ve been searching for?
