My story

Buddy was found as a stray in January 2021, and it was evident he had prior training, but no owner was ever found. If Buddy were in school, he would be both the valedictorian and the class clown! He is a 5-year-old mixed breed (we think he is part working breed of some kind). Buddy always loves meeting new people, and he is not shy when it comes to showing affection! His energy level is high, and he requires a ton of enrichment in his life. Buddy is super smart, listens well, and catches on quickly with new training. Buddy needs a very active lifestyle to fulfill his needs. He can easily become bored, which is why it's imperative his human provides him with different enrichment activities throughout the day.

We believe Buddy would do best having a daily job to help ease his boredom and fulfill his enrichment needs. In February, Buddy met the NMB K9 team at Macaroni Mania, and he even had a mini training session with one of the officers! Buddy impressed the officers, and they felt he would excel on a K9 team or something similar. We would love to see our Buddy finally achieving his fullest potential! Please help us share Buddy's story! If you are interested in meeting Buddy, please submit an application at https://humanesocietynmb.org/dog-adoption-form/, or call 843-249-4948 to schedule an appointment.
