My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dodger is a cuddle connoisseur! From the moment you meet him, you'll be greeted with wagging tail and eager eyes, just waiting for the opportunity to snuggle up close. Whether it's curling up on the couch for a cozy movie night or sharing the bed for a restful night's sleep, Dodger is happiest when he's by your side, soaking up all the love and attention you have to offer. But Dodger's affectionate nature goes beyond just cuddles - he's also incredibly loving and devoted. He forms deep bonds with his humans and cherishes every moment spent together. His loyalty knows no bounds, and he'll go above and beyond to make sure you know just how much he cares. Dodger is heartworm positive and will be going through treatment. Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

HSNMB does not hold animals and all adoptions are done on a first-come, first-served basis in person at the shelter. Once the adoption is completed and the fee is paid, you must take the animal with you at that time.

Please be sure to bring a photo ID and cash or a credit card for the adoption fee. The primary caregiver is required to be present to go through the adoption process. Any children 5 and under and, in some cases, any existing dogs living in the home will be required to be present and meet the animal prior to adopting. Meet and greets are not required for all animals, but may be deemed necessary by HSNMB staff for specific pets.

Adoption Fees:
Cats (over 6 months of age): $60
Kittens (under 6 months of age): $100
Dogs (over 6 months of age): $110
Puppies (under 6 months of age): $140
Seniors ages 60 and up qualify for discounted adoptions fees.
