My story

Hi, my name is Topaz and I am about 8 years old.  Me and my 2 litter mates were strays found in the window well of a house during a rain storm when we were about 8 weeks old.  The homeowner did not want us to drown and brought us to BCHS.  I have never been very sociable or outgoing as a kitten.  I usually hide when people enter the room.  I still am very shy and timid.  I need a person who will be patient with me and give me as much time as I need to acclimate to a new environment.  I get along with all the cats I live with in a community room at the shelter.  I am available for immediate adoption.  My adoption fee is by donation.  I am spayed, UTD on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for internal and external parasites and microchipped.  If you are interested in adopting me please complete an adoption profile in person or on-line at  Email the completed profile to the address provided.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds or returns is available upon request.
