My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gilly came to Tuxedo House in June with a fungal infection on her leg and ears. It was the beginning of a very long treatment. We finally beat it in mid September, and silly Gilly has been fungal free for a month.

Spending so much time in a cage has been difficult for her. She is extremely energetic, loving, and wanted to be cuddled more than I could offer her during treatment. To compensate, she would grab my hand when I cleaned her cage, and while never mean, she could be too rough for young children. As playful as she is, she is also loving and sweet, and LOVES to be cuddled.

I would like to see Gilly placed in a forever home, where she can get used to being a cat, running free in the household, instead of leading the life of a “caged” animal. I know that is what she wants too.

GilGil has never been exposed to dogs, but she is young and I believe she could learn. She has never shown any aggression to other cats I am fostering.
