My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jaken is a very handsome fellow with his rich red coloring and black mask. He has a playful and fun personality and is happy to tag along with you on your walks about the neighborhood or on and car trips. He is sweet and loving and already home acclimated. He is a real "velcro" dog who will follow you everywhere. He loves people and will lean against you if you are close enough. Jaken is an average size male greyhound at around 70lbs, and is4 years old. He has lived in a home with a child, and would do great with older children. He can sometimes be a little too playful to be with very young children. Jaken gets along great with other dogs, and would do best if there were another dog in the family. Jaken came to us because he had broken his hock while racing. It is completely healed now. Once his splint was removed, Jaken thought it was great fun to chase the family cat around his foster home. We recommend Jaken for a home with no resident cats. Jake is very devoted to his people and if you will give him a loving home, he will gladly return the favor many times over. Jaken's $225 adoption fee includes his neuter, teeth cleaning, all vaccines, microchip, leash and collar, adoption guide, grooming mit, stuffie toy, Pet-Z-Life tooth gel, and toothbrush.
