So, yes, I am named Elsa - after THAT Elsa, too. :) I was found in February in San Antonio when the temps were below freezing and pipes were bursting and things were just not going great for many in San Antonio...
Luckily for me, a kind man and his family took me in so I didn't have to stay out in the cold any longer.
I am a sensitive girl - yelling and loud voices scare me. But when I know and trust you, I will give you kisses and my whole heart!
I am a smart, kind, young, and beautiful brindle girl. I just need a family who will give me the time to become comfortable in my new home and show you the loving dog I was always meant to be. <3
I am heartworm positive and they have already begun my treatments. I will be ready to go home with you by the end of June - so fill out the application now so that I can go be with my forever family as soon as I can.
Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area)

Adoption counselor will email you to discuss the inquiry/application,and give more info about the pet, the foster and adoption process..

Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..
If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.
