We at All Paws Matter believe in the benefits of post-adoption training for our dogs and their families. This allows for continued socialization, learning and helps to create a well-mannered and balanced dog. This is now a requirement in our adoption process. Proof of training classes for puppies specifically is required before adoption.

This sweet senior girl loves everything and everyone, and don’t let her age fool you she still has a lot of pep in her step! Ramona ended up in the shelter after she jumped into an open car and stayed there because she was tired of the living on the streets of Mexico and just didn’t want to fend for herself anymore. She has been at the shelter for a while now and we would really like her to be able to live her senior years in a home where she could rest her head, sleep in a warm bed and be happy.

She is fully house trained as well as crate trained as she does not make any mess at the shelter and walks on leash beautifully. Romona is a quiet girl who would love to just snuggle beside you. She could live in either a home with a nice fenced in backyard where she can bask in sun or in a condo or apartment where she could get some nice walks. She is a smart girl and can be easily trained. She loves people but can, at times, be dominant with other dogs so a calm dog or no dogs would be suitable for her. She is wonderful with any age of children and accepts them whole heartedly.
