My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Hound! He is a 5yr old male Pitbull mix that weighs 61lbs. He came into the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 3/28. He was found abandoned in a home with a female dog and her 3 puppies, which most likely Hounds is the dad. He is a very handsome boy, with bright golden brown eyes. He walks well on a leash, takes treats gently, knows the sit command and wags his little tail while being petted. He enjoys investigating the shelter yard and stretching his legs while enjoying the sunshine! He likes to chase balls but doesn't always bring them back. As we walked through the shelter yard with other dogs barking he didn't show much interest in them. We do always ask if there will be another dog in the home, please ask the shelter for a dog test. Sweet Hound hopes to find his own loving family with a secured backyard, but most importantly lives indoors to enjoy the company of his human companions. Please come meet this wonderful boy and give him the home he deserves.
