My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cocoa is approximately 6 months old and a total lovebug!

She has great kennel manners and is as silent as a church mouse all night in her crate with no accidents. She is being fostered with other dogs and that is going really well. We have been told that she is fine with cats but isn't around them at the moment.

She is very treat motivated so she is learning lots of new skills and her foster family believes that she will have no problem learning new things!

Here are some examples of what she has already learned:

- Loves to fetch and is learning to release it to continue the game.
- Working on teaching her to lay “down”.
- Has already mastered the “sit” command.
- Loves socks and will do just about anything to get them (except take them off your foot). She just likes to carry them around in her mouth :-) We are working on the “drop” command with that.

And when she’s not being a goofy puppy, this girl knows how to lounge and laze about. Do you want to be active? She’s got you. She’s always down to play, walk, run, whatever you want to do, she’s in. Feeling like just chilling? She sees you and she’s good with that too. She can read the activity level in the room and follow suit.

Remember that Cocoa is still a puppy so “chill” isn’t always her vibe, but when it is, it’s perfect. Her fosters believe that as she matures her motto will be “up for whatever you want to do.”

Cocoa is being scheduled for her spay soon, but is available for meeting potential adopters!

Do you need a bit more Cocoa in your life?
